Big Five Personality Test
Explore your personality with MyTraitMap, a free test using 50 public-domain IPIP questions. Rate how accurately each statement describes you. The test takes about 5–8 minutes.
What does the test measure?
The five traits are Openness (ideas and imagination), Conscientiousness (structure and follow-through), Extraversion (social energy), Agreeableness (empathy and cooperation), and Neuroticism (emotional sensitivity).
How are results scored?
Each trait uses ten answers. Responses are scored from 1 to 5, with reverse-keyed items scored in the opposite direction. Totals of 10–50 are mapped to 0–100. Scores describe tendencies, not fixed personality types, population percentiles, or a clinical diagnosis.
Your answers are scored in your browser and cleared when you refresh or close the tab. After the test, you can copy, download, or share a badge of your five scores.
